These Terms ("Terms") cover how you can use RaveFAM — the crew and festival tracker operated by us (RaveFAM), based in Florida, USA. By creating an account or scanning that QR code, you're agreeing to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Questions? Hit us at bump@myravefam.com.
⚠️ RaveFAM is currently in BETA. The service is provided as-is during this early phase. Features may change, be removed, or behave unexpectedly. While we take care with your data, we cannot guarantee data will not be lost during the BETA period. We'll always do our best to notify you of significant changes.
01 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RaveFAM at myravefam.com, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.
02 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use RaveFAM. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
03 Your Account
When you create an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Keep access to the email address and phone number you log in with secure, and don't share your login codes
- Notify us immediately at bump@myravefam.com of any unauthorized use of your account
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions.
Text messages: If you enter a mobile number to log in or add one to your account, you agree to receive one-time login and verification codes by text message, sent only when you request them. We don't send marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency depends on how often you request a code. Only use a phone number that belongs to you.
Notifications: Push notifications (Beacons, set reminders, lineup alerts) and lineup alert emails are only sent if you turn them on. You can switch each type off in ⚙️ Settings → Privacy & Notifications, block notifications in your browser, or unsubscribe from any email.
RaveFAM allows crew leaders to add unclaimed member profiles on behalf of people who haven't yet signed up — for example, to track who's coming to an event before they join the platform. By adding someone as an unclaimed member, you take responsibility for ensuring you have a genuine relationship with that person and that adding them is appropriate. If someone wants their unclaimed profile removed, we will action that promptly — they can email bump@myravefam.com.
04 Acceptable Use
You agree to use RaveFAM only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users
- Post or share content that is abusive, hateful, or discriminatory
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
- Use the platform to spam, advertise, or promote unsolicited services
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the platform
- Knowingly submit false set times, lineup details, or reports
- Violate any applicable local, state, or federal laws
RaveFAM has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these standards at our sole discretion. If you see content or behavior that violates these standards, you can report it directly from the app (🚩); our moderators review reports and may take action, including content removal or account suspension.
You can also block another user (🚫) from their profile or from any of their Huddle messages. Once you block someone, you won't see their Huddle messages or receive notifications from them. Blocking is private: the other person is not told. You can unblock anyone at any time in Settings → Privacy & Notifications.
05 User Content
RaveFAM allows you to create and share content such as crew names, festival entries, photos, How We Met stories, Dream Board wishlist entries, private notes, Lineup Explorer picks and favorites, crew votes, set times you suggest or report, and profile information ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content.
By submitting User Content, you grant RaveFAM a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, display, and use your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service.
GIFs from GIPHY are third-party content provided by GIPHY and subject to GIPHY's terms; RaveFAM doesn't own or control them.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of any content you submit. We do not endorse or verify User Content. Set times you suggest are reviewed by our moderators, who may edit, merge, or reject them before they appear on a lineup.
Share links: A share link shows your first name and picks to anyone who has it. You decide who you send it to, and you can turn it off anytime from ⚙️ Settings.
06 Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, logos, and trademarks on RaveFAM — excluding User Content — are the property of RaveFAM and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of RaveFAM without our express written permission.
07 Disclaimers
RaveFAM is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the service is at your sole risk.
We are not responsible for the actions, content, or data of third parties, including other users, festivals, or external services linked from RaveFAM.
Lineups, set times & reminders are for information only. Festivals change lineups, stages, and set times without notice, and our copy may be incomplete, late, or wrong. Set reminders and alerts depend on your device, browser, battery, and signal, and may arrive late or not at all. Always check the festival's official app or schedule — RaveFAM isn't responsible for a set you miss.
08 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RaveFAM and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, profits, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of RaveFAM shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.
RaveFAM is free to use. You may choose to support us with an optional donation or tip through Ko-fi. Any such donations are voluntary, are processed by Ko-fi under their own terms, and are non-refundable. They are not required to access any current feature of the service.
09 Termination
You may permanently delete your account at any time from ⚙️ Settings → Delete my account in the app, or by emailing bump@myravefam.com — see our Privacy Policy for how that's handled.
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to RaveFAM at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if required for legal or security reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
10 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Florida.
11 Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice. Your continued use of RaveFAM after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
